Case Studies:
- Case No. 1, Shirley: Shirley is a sciatica sufferer. One day her sciatic pain had her in tears, her reported pain level was an 8 out of 10. We applied two VPods on either side of the affected sciatic nerve area. In 15-seconds, she felt significant relief and the tears stopped. In 2-minutes she reported that the pain had reduced to a 2. The pain remained abated for 24-hours.
- Case No. 2, Jim: Jim has knee problems due to cartilage issues but still loves to play golf. Normally after a round of golf his pain level is a 7 out of 10. Jim applied 1 of the recommended 3 VPods on either side of his right knee for 30-minutes prior to playing golf. He played 18-holes and felt great. He felt "almost no pain" for 24-hours after golf. "This expletive is great. I want one as soon as it comes out."
- Case No. 3, Mei: Mei is a 78-year-old active person with very little cartilage left in either knees. After her daily walks, her pain level is normally a 7 out of 10. We applied 2 VPods on either side of her knees and one below the knee cap. In 2-minutes her pain level dropped to a 5. At the end of the recommended 20-minute treatment her pain level was a 2. After a second treatment 40-minutes later, her pain level dropped to a 0. We presented Mei with a permanent set of prototypes for extended study. She uses them twice a day and does not have to take any analgesics. She used to take medication for the pain.
- Case No. 4, Charles: Charles is an active 28-year-old who injured his ankle through over exertion recently. His pain level was a hard "6 out of 10", and was walking with a limp. We applied 2 VPods to his affected ankle. In less than 30-seconds, he had a smile on his face and said, "This expletive is great!". He reported that immediately his pain had reduced to a 0. About 2-3 hours after the treatment, his pain returned but only to a 2 out of 10. His pain did not fully return until the next day.
- Case No. 5, James: James had two complaints at two different times. First, he is also a sciatic pain sufferer who normally experiences daily pain levels of 6 out of 10. After a single 20-minute treatment with 1 VPod, his pain level was reduced to a 2. On another occasion, he sprained his ankle and reported a pain level of 7 out of 10. We applied 2 VPods on either side of his ankles. Immediately he reported a lot of relief. After a 20-minute treatment he reported that with the VPods on his pain level was 0. When the VPods were removed, he had a pain level of 1.5 which lasted for hours before climbing back up the scale.
- Case No.6, Priti: Priti is a licensed occupational therapist who suffers from lower back pain and a strained shoulder. In her first test, she applied it to her lower back and reduced her pain from a 5 to a 2 in about 10-minutes. This pain reduction lasted almost 24 hours. She then applied two VPods to her shoulder and experienced a pain reduction from a 6 to a 4 in about 15-minutes. But, after removing the VPods, her pain continued to reduce for another 10-minutes and ended up as a 2 out of 10.
- Case No. 7, Judith: Judith suffers from several issues involving her left shoulder and is under the care of an occupational therapist. In four 20-minute applications applied over four visits there was a remarkable increase in mobility and decrease in pain. The OT observed a better than 50% increase in mobility of the joint while undergoing the VBand treatment. Judith experienced a pain reduction from a 9 to a 4 and could push more with her exercise even while wearing the VBand.
- Case No. 8, Arleen: Arleen suffers from chronic lower back pain and has for years. She has seen orthopedists and been to physical therapy. However, she still experiences pain daily. She started the 10 minute VBand treatment with a 5 on the pain scale. She felt noticeable results in less than a minute. At the end of the treatment, her pain had dropped to a 2. "Don't feel the pain when wearing the VBand. I feel treat that it relieves the pain. Definitely love to have this." Her pain remained abated for over 4-hours.
- Case No. 10, Visitacion: Visitacion had rotator cuff repair surgery 12 weeks ago. At the start of the VBand treatment of her right shoulder, her pain level was a 7 on the pain scale. She felt results in less than 2-minutes. After only a 5-minute treatment her pain level dropped to a 4. "Positive effect post 5 minutes and continues to relive the pain as I wear it longer. Able to raise my arm with lesser pain." Her pain remained at the level for 3-hours after the short treatment.
- Case No. 11, Patrick: Patrick suffers from chronic lower back muscular pain. At the start of his treatment with the VBand his pain was about a 6 on the pain scale. He started to feel very noticeable results in less than 2-minutes. After a 10-minute treatment, his pain had reduced to a 3. "Feels very good, will us again definitely." After Patrick went fishing after his 10-minute treatment and claimed that he felt no pain for at least 3-hours from the time of his treatment.
- Case No. 12, Noha: Noha suffers from chronic neck and upper shoulder pain and has for years. She also suffers from hip pain caused by an old injury. Both areas were treated for approximately 10 minutes. At the beginning of the treatment, her pain level was a 7 out of 10 on the pain scale. She felt good results just after 2 minutes. At the completion of the treatments her pain level was a 3 in both areas. "The VBand gave me immediate pain relief and flexibility in my neck where I feel the most discomfort. Life Changing." Noha claimed that her pain was abated for hours. She doesn't remember how long because it was so nice to be without pain.
- Case No. 13, Mark: Mark had rotator cuff and bicep repair surgery 8 weeks ago. At the start of the treatment, his pain level was 7.5 out of 10. He stated that even with his arm at rest he experienced a constant throbbing pain sensation. He felt immediate results as soon as the VBand was activated. The throbbing disappeared almost immediately. The pain decrease was significant after 3-4 minutes. This is with his at rest. At the end of a 10-minute treatment his pain level was a 3 or less, with no throbbing at all. "My shoulder still hurts if I move my arm, but in a relaxed position my shoulder pain is reduced dramatically."
- Case No. 14, Kelly: Kelly had rotator cuff repair surgery just six weeks ago. That means she is first beginning to move her shoulder on her own and experiencing significant pain. At the time of her treatment session her pain was a 7 out of 10. After no more than 30-seconds she claimed it reduced to a 2. She was given a full 20-minute treatment. While her arm was at rest, she felt almost no pain what so ever. She gained significant mobility of arm during treatment although warned by tester not to try too much movement so soon after surgery. "It Works GREAT!"
- Case No. 15, Celest Barron: Celest is a nurse who injured her shoulder while walking her dog. Her shoulder only hurts when she moves it in certain ways, but then it hurts bad. After her PT session, her shoulder was hurting at a full 10 on the scale of 10. This means she was near tears. After only 4-minutes with the VBand her pain reduced to a 3 out of 10. We continued the treatment for 20-mintues and she could move her shoulder without restriction and minimal pain.
